Manchester City will make their debut in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday thanks to their heroics back in June.
Potentially lost in the celebrations a couple of months ago was the fact City qualified for the European Super Cup which pits the Champions League winners against the Europa League winners in an early-season encounter which takes place this week. MEN Sport has put together everything you need to know about the match.When is the UEFA Super Cup? The Super Cup final will take place on Wednesday, August 16 at 9pm CET and 8pm UK time.
Where will the final be held? The final will be held at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens and is the home of Olympiakos. The stadium's capacity is just over 30,000. Is there extra time? The game will not have extra time, if the scores are level after 90 minutes than the trophy will be decided by penalties.
