Dominique Thorne shares more detail about her conversation with Robert Downey Jr. before she officially leads her own MCU show in Ironheart. After her first appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Studios is officially introducing a proper replacement for Iron Man in Riri Williams via her own TV show on Disney+. While the pair weren't able to meet on screen in the MCU, Downey made sure to connect with his on-screen heir to offer her words of encouragement.
So, he and I didn’t really have much chance to connect prior to, but maybe that worked out pretty well, because, actually, the first thing he said in our conversation, or toward the end of the conversation, was that he didn’t have any advice for me. And he felt like I was actually pretty okay and that I’d be all right.
