James Ryan will see a specialist over his hand/wrist injury but at this stage has not been ruled out of Ireland's Rugby World Cup clash with New Zealand on Saturday night as Andy Farrell has resisted the urge to call in any replacements.
Hansen is receiving treatment on a calf injury but at this stage, says Ireland team manager Mick Kearney, no player is out of contention for the crunch quarter-final.Lowe is expected to recover and train fully this week, along with Furlong, while Robbie Henshaw and Keith Earls are also expected to participate fully after hamstring issues last week.
"And we're hoping for better news than originally anticipated. We won't have a definitive on James until he sees a specialist, but there is more optimism around James."
