The terrifying curse featured in Uzumaki is colliding with a familiar superhero from Invincible. Invincible co-creator Ryan Ottley makes Atom Eve an unfortunate victim of the spiral curse in a freaky commission cover.
Invincible comes from Ottley and Robert Kirkman and tells the story of a young man named Mark Grayson, the son of the Superman-like hero, Omni-Man. Despite living most of his life without his father's powers, Mark eventually gained the same abilities and used them to become the hero Invincible. Unfortunately, Mark also discovered that Omni-Man wasn't the hero he presented himself to and that his father was a member of a hyper-violent race known as the Viltrumites.

On Twitter, Ottley posted, "A Junji Ito Uzumaki inspired INVINCIBLE commission done at @MegaConOrlando".
Fans loved seeing Ottley mix his incredible work with elements from Ito's seminal masterpiece, with his Twitter post gaining over a thousand likes. Uzumaki is a perturbing work, and while it isn't as bloody as Invincible, it's terrifying in its own right. Blank variant covers allow artists to flex their skills and give fans a one-of-a-kind item they can treasure forever.
