Fatal double shooting ... Investigation underway after woman, child found shot to death inside north Harris County home, deputies say
– Deputies are investigating after a woman and a child were found dead inside a home in north Harris County Tuesday afternoon.
The discovery was made after a relative went to conduct a welfare check at the home in the 1800 block of Vernal Glen Circle around 1:49 p.m.Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the child is believed to be possibly six years old.
