"Yeah, like you said, we've lost three in a row. The guys know what we need to do. It's the little things, the details. You know, we're in every game. We just need to finish. I mean, it starts with today, you know what I'm saying? We gotta walk through today and the guys gotta be on the details and on their jobs. Yeah, I just got to keep chipping away one day at a time," said Buckner.
It's a tough situation. We asked Buckner how teammates approach the younger players who haven't been through it before. "You know, we're at the halfway point," said Buckner."Obviously we're not where we want to be, but we've got two more weeks to the bye and, you know, we can knock these two games out and go into the bye .500, you know what I'm saying, and take off from there. So, you know, the best teams play their best ball in November and December and that's what we gotta start doing.
Five out of six of the upcoming games are on the road, beginning with Carolina Sunday. They just got their first win. They're playing at home. They're going to be confident."Definitely, they're gonna be confident. They're back at home, got their first win. You know, there's gonna be a lot of energy. Watching the film, I mean, you know, they do some great things, you know what I'm saying, and we just, we can't take them lightly just because of their record.
