. The Hollywood legend—who took home the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture award for her performance in—was one of the shining stars of last night’s ceremony. She also has a long history with the event. A former Miss Golden Globe, Dern made her first appearance at the show when she was just 14, and in the decades since, she’s racked up an astonishing eight nominations and five wins.
Naturally, Dern knows the ins and outs of getting ready for a big awards show, and her pre-show prep at the Peninsula was fun-filled. Armed with a bounty of Neil Lane jewels to choose from, and a few aromatherapy essentials,got glam while staying calm and cool. With help from stylists Cristina Ehrlich and Kevin Michael Ericson, makeup artist Simone Siegl, and hairstylist Ryan Trygstad, Dern and her team brought together an understated yet elegant total look.
