Henrietta, N.Y. — For the second year, the Flower City Tattoo convention is making its mark in Rochester.
“All weekend is the second Flower City tattooing convention. I got invited to come attend again, and it’s just an awesome show,” said Kyle Mackenzie, tattoo artist of 13 years and "Ink Master" cast member. Fifteen cast members from the show "Ink Master" are competing throughout the weekend at the Dome Arena.
“I was going to school for animation and design, and I was always very artistic,” said Laura Wachholder, “Ink Master" tattoo artist. "I figured, tattoo art was a way for me to make a decent living."“It’s different from other art forms,” said Angel Rose, tattoo artist. “It’s on a person, and that person is gonna live a life, and travel the world, and have children, and all these things, and people are gonna associate that person with that art piece.
