And when an Arizona State Trooper noticed a ‘seusspicious-looking “passenger”’ it turned out that the driver of the vehicle thought they could use the decoration as a free pass to use the HOV lane.first posted about the incident on its Twitter account.
We do know that this practice is illegal and that the driver received a citation according to the AZ DPS. The law in question, 28-737 specifically prohibits the use of the HOV lane during times when it’s restricted to vehicles with two or more persons. There are exceptions for
