Indigo has adapted to the changing markets by offering products well beyond books. But, at its core, Indigo is a bookseller and continues to be a hub for readers and authors to connect. As a previous Indigo employee, I can speak to a few of those books. I was on the events team and had the honour of leading some of the book launch events. Almost a decade later, I still remember the events clearly because of Bobby Orr, Chris Hadfield and Amanda Lindhout.— It was a book signing event in Oshawa, Ont. I did research to see how many books I should order. I got it wrong. I arrived at the event a few hours before it started. I was a day late.
