The release date for physical media versions of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has now been revealed, and they include a no-dialogue cut.

Directed by James Mangold, the fifth entry in the long-running Indiana Jones franchise sees Harrison Ford return as the intrepid archeologist for one last adventure. After becoming available for purchase on digital platforms on August 29, the sequel is now gearing up for its physical media release.
Now, Disney reveals that Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 5, 2023. The physical media edition will include a host of bonus features, including featurettes breaking down the major set pieces in the prologue, New York City, Morocco, Sicily, and everything in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny's wild ending. Also included in the physical media releases is a version of the movie with only John Williams' iconic score.
Looking Back At Indiana Jones 5's Theatrical Performance The early buzz out of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny's premiere at Cannes was decidedly mixed, with critics divided on Ford's last outing as the beloved hero. While the film's wide release brought more positive-skewing reviews, the sequel still wasn't the slam dunk some had been expecting.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny's box office currently sits at a meager $383.8 million. Considering the film is budgeted at around $300 million, it's been a considerable flop for Disney and will not break even. While the quality of the film itself is perhaps partially to blame, in hindsight, it's hard to imagine even a well-received Indiana Jones movie succeeding at this price point.
One major problem facing the film is that Indiana Jones isn't a character that means a great deal to younger audiences. Although Ford remains a beloved movie star, he's now in his 80s, and it's a tough sell to get younger demographics invested in a movie about someone their grandfather's age. Furthermore, the previous film in the franchise was released back in 2008, making for quite a gap between installments.
