cameo has a few more details from the actor who appeared in it.
The fifth movie in the Indiana Jones series stars Harrison Ford in another action-adventure as the iconic hero. This film features him and Phoebe Waller-Bridge as his goddaughter Helena who accompanies him on a mission to retrieve a dial before it can fall into the hands of the villainous Jürgen Voller .
This movie features an unexpected cameo appearance by a famous Indiana Jones character in its final scene.Yes, Karen Allen reprises her role as Marion Ravenwood from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in the final moments of this movie.about how since the ending of the previous Indiana Jones movie featured Indiana and Marion getting married, the fifth movie was originally going to be an Indy-Marion adventure directed by Steven Spielberg.
However, Marion wasn’t the only character to get written off. Indiana’s son, Mutt Williams, portrayed by Shia LaBeouf in the previous film, was killed offscreen in the Vietnam War. “Well, I was disappointed, of course,” Allen says. “I knew that there had been talk that they did not want to go forward with Shia, so I knew that something in the story had to create the potential for him to not be there in a way that made sense.
“I was deeply happy that Marion came back at least the end of their story. If this is indeed truly the last film of this particular group of films — if this is the last story with Harrison as Indy and me as Marion — I was profoundly happy that it didn’t end without them coming back together. That meant a lot to me, to feel like they were going to ride off in the sunset together.”Jonathan Sim is a film critic and filmmaker born and raised in New York City.
