Six months after unveiling its new Born Electric line of electric SUVs, far-flung, multinational India-based automaker Mahindra and Mahindra is joining a growing number of vehicle manufacturers in adopting a system for over-the-air updates created by Silicon Valley connected tech company Sibros.

“Sibros brings fresh thinking and technology to complement Mahindra’s EV strategy as we focus on creating transformative value for customers through intelligently connected and digitally immersive experiences,” said Velusamy R., President Automotive Technology and Product Development, Mahindra & Mahindra.
For Sibros, the Mahindra deal is another big win. In November the company announced a partnershp with German electric car manufacturer Next.e.GO Mobile SE which agreed to adopt the Sibros Deep Connected Platform for its new models including the e.wave X introduced in October
