It will support a charity in his memory
A commemorative ice hockey puck has been created to remember the life of Adam Johnson, who died after suffering a cut to his neck during a Nottingham Panthers game. Johnson, 29, suffered a severe cut to his neck caused by an opponent's skate blade.
The puck features Johnson’s player number 47, along with his name and the Panthers logo. All profits from the product will go directly to "Love for Hibbing and Hockey Memorial Fund" which supports local charities in Hibbing, Minnesota, the hometown of the 29-year-old ice hockey player.
