After winning nearly $300,000, a Michigan Lottery winner was able to give her husband the best birthday present ever.the $288,903 Fantasy 5 jackpot July 21, which also happened to be her husband, Scott's, birthday. Murawski bought the winning ticket at a Red Party Store in Willis, Michigan, about 35 miles southwest of Detroit.officials she likes to play Fantasy 5 when the jackpot is over $150,000, so she made a quick stop at the store and grabbed a ticket.
"While we were there, my brother-in-law texted my husband the winning numbers," Murawski told lottery officials. "As I was looking at them, I kept yelling: ‘I think we hit! I think we hit!’ My husband looked at the ticket and his jaw dropped!"Murawski called winning the lottery "life-changing" and said it will mean an earlier retirement for both herself and her husband.
