An influencer has shared the harrowing tale of her botched cosmetic procedure, which left her with scars.
Startling before and after photos show the 34-year-old’s swollen features as a result of the botched, non-surgical procedure performed by a dental professional in Matao, Brazil, in 2020.
“My life has stopped, I’m psychologically broken. I just want my face back,” she told Newsflash. “I’m suffering a lot, but I have faith that justice will be served, I don’t want other people to go through this.” The influencer with thousands of followers traded advertising for a procedure that left her deformed.She originally agreed to the procedure in exchange for her advertising the dental professional on her social media accounts, which would reach her 15,000 Instagram followers.
Under the impression her fillers were hyaluronic acid, a dermatologist proved otherwise. In June, they found that the young influencer’s face had been injected with polymethyl methacrylate, which hasSwollen and covered in stitches, Michelini’s face didn’t react correctly to the fillers.Michelini is allegedly suing the person who gave her the botched procedure.
It’s not uncommon for botched procedures to occur, but Michelini was promised a different kind of filler than the one she received.
