'I’m an ex-heroin addict - a letter through door left me in tears, I'm speechless'
A RECOVERING addict has told how receiving a simple letter left her in floods of tears.
Holly Fitzwater, originally from Fife, turned to heroin at the age of 20 and lost a decade of her life to the Class A killer.Holly is a huge huge hit on TikTok where she shares her recovery journey However she’s been sober for 18 months and has acted as an inspiration for others on TikTok where she shares the highs and lows of her redemption journey.But she’s proud of her progress and couldn’t believe how big an impact one small moment had on her.
Holly said: “Something amazing just got posted through my door to the point it had me in tears for 10 minutes.“After ten and a half years in active heroin addiction, now a year and a half into my recovery journey on TikTok sharing the ups and downs, everything. “I just received something that showed me 'you're doing it', you're doing this Holly, you're smashing your goals.Most read in Fabulous
