Corrie's SamAston93 reacts to his 'life on screen' exclusively with OK! 🎥❤️
He's best known as Coronation Street's Chesney Brown, but Sam Aston has revealed that many people still recognise him as the "90s Warburtons kid".
Sam sat down with OK! to watch a video of some of his most notable performances on TV, including some of Chesney's biggest storylines on Corrie. Chatting about a few of his first acting jobs, Sam revealed that the first one he could recall was an advert for George at Asda, saying: "The first one that I can really remember, is I did a George clothing advert. I only had one line in that, I just stood behind a wall.
Giving an insight into his first ever day working on the ITV soap, Sam said: "It was on location. I remember being really excited actually," before watching an early clip of him and on-screen sister Jennie McAlpine working together. "I was a young kid getting to work with a dog and I wasn't allowed a dog at home, so this was another little dream for me," the star happily recalled.
Many were also a fan of Chesney's beloved dog Schmeichel too, and Sam told how Corrie fans will still stop him in the street asking about him, saying: "Wherever I go, even now, people are saying to me 'where's your big dog', 'where's Schmeichel'. He was a massive character to be fair, he was a big part."
