Hyundai has introduced a limited production version of its Disney-themed Ioniq 5, but sadly, it ditches the digital grille featured on the concept
Hyundai unveiled the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept at the New York Auto Show earlier this year and now it’s making the leap into production. Set to debut during tonight’s broadcast of “Dancing with the Stars,” the special edition features a Gravity Gold Matte exterior with wheels that are designed to recall Mickey Mouse. The model also sports “Disney100 Platinum” badging. Unfortunately, the concept’s coolest feature has been left on the chopping block.
” That’s a sad substitute, but the special edition also sports Mickey Mouse-inspired trim, unique floor mats, and embossed Disney100 logos on the front seats and center console. Production will be limited to 1,000 units and the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition will go on sale early next year.
