It’s Tuesday, August 29th, and yesterday, I helped announce one of the coolest projects in music: The world’s next biggest girl group is on the way, and Billboard has all the details. Super labels Geffen and HYBE have teamed up to bring you a global group of epic proportions. HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk and Geffen CEO John Janick kicked off the announcement of their joint venture. And yesterday I hosted a panel discussion with the team behind “The Debut: Dream Academy,” a training and development program looking to form a girl group comprised of young women from around the world.
