Hurst police are investigating a homicide after a finding 42-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound inside an apartment Friday.
Officers responded at about 3 a.m. to a report of a shooting at the Tribecca Pointe Apartments, 601 Brown Trail, police said in a news release. When they arrived, they found the man dead from an “apparent gunshot wound” inside one of the apartments, police said. It’s not clear what led to the shooting, but police believe it involved a “domestic situation.”
Tarrant County’s medical examiner’s office identified the man as Erik Jermaine Lewis. According to the office, his cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.Email Address
