Hurricane Idalia made landfall Wednesday morning in the Gulf Coast of Florida and is now barreling across Georgia.Idalia is now Category 1 storm and is making its way through Georgia, after making landfall this morning on Florida's Gulf Coast.
The storm's center is expected to move across southeastern Georgia today and near the coast of South Carolina tonight, the National Hurricane Center said. It also expects the storm to move just offshore the coast of southern North Carolina on Thursday.in Florida and Georgia on Wednesday afternoon, according to the website PowerOutage.us.
