Huntsville City Schools agreed to pay $250,000 to a student who was physically bullied to the extent that he will require medical treatment for the rest of his life, according to the federal lawsuit filed in 2021.The settlement resulted from a mediation conference in March, according to a court filing. The school district’s board of education subsequently voted to approve the terms of the settlement.
