America’s National Parks season 2 is here with lengthy looks into a new selection of the country's most beautiful protected parks. Season 1 of the National Geographic series was released last year and transported viewers to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Big Bend, Badlands, and Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Parks. America’s National Parks season 2 explores locations that may be lesser known but just as beautiful, including California’s Channel Islands and Florida’s Biscayne.

Season 2 presents the unique animals of the Channel Islands and the brown bears of Lake Clark, as well as species that migrate to and from national parks during the year.
Why America’s National Parks Needs a Season 3 As informative as each episode of America’s National Parks is, the five-episode structure of each season means that a wealth of what the country has to offer continues to go unexplored. The United States has 63 national parks, and while some are better-known than others , each has something unique and enriching for its visitors. 30 states in the U.S.
The wide-ranging nature of the parks explored in America’s National Parks season 2 is a testament to the variety of options offered across the country. In addition to Grand Teton, Channel Islands, Lake Clark, and Biscayne National Parks, America’s National Parks season 2 explores Minnesota’s Voyageurs. With 53 national parks still left to visit once the season finishes its run on June 19th, there is plenty of walkable ground for an America’s National Parks season 3 to cover.
America’s National Parks season 2 premieres June 5th with back-to-back episodes at 9/8c on National Geographic. It streams on Disney+ on June 7th.
