In a new interview to promote Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, actor Hugh Grant struggles to answer any questions related to DnD.

Hugh Grant needs some help from costars Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez to answer questions related to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves in a recent interview promoting the film. Based on the beloved table-top role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. The upcoming fantasy adventure film follows a ragtag band of adventurers who are on a quest to recover a lost relic.

As the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves release date inches closer, Grant, Pine, and Rodriguez sit down for Wired's "Autocomplete Interview" segment in which Grant hilariously struggles to answer any questions related to the game or the actual film. Check out the relevant section in the interview below at around 6:28:

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The video sees Grant reveal that he has relatively little knowledge about the game itself as he asks Pine if it involves "dressing up." Pine's explanation of the film involving the awakening of an "ancient evil power" doesn't seem to ring a bell with the actor either but, to be fair, he hadn't yet seen the movie when the interview was taking place, and it's not clear how prominently he features in the larger story.

Pine's character, for example, is Edgin, a bard. Bards are charismatic and well-suited to talking their way out of problems. Rodriguez, on the other hand, plays Holga, a barbarian, and is clearly a very proficient fighter. Grant plays a Rogue named Forge Fitzwilliam, and the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves trailers would suggest that he might be a supporting villain in the film.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' tone is definitely more on the light-hearted side of things, with trailers showing off the movie's humor, much of which seems to stem from Pine's character. That being said, the upcoming adaption is certainly not skimping on action either, with some epic set pieces having already been teased.
