A moving tribute. RIP Nicola 💔
An artist has painted a mural in memory of Nicola Bulley in her hometown as the community has been 'hit hard' by her death.
The 45-year-old mortgage advisor had just taken her two daughters to school before she went missing, with her phone and her dog's lead found near to the river. Nicola lived in Lancashire, but was raised in South Woodham Ferrers near Chelmsford, having previously attended William de Ferrers school. The community was said to be 'hit hard' by the news of her passing.
He said: "I was a friend of the family anyway, me and her sister were quite close. I've been following this story and when I heard that she had gone, I was just lying in bed and came up with the idea of painting a mural. "I didn't do it for any personal gain; this family are from South Woodham Ferrers and very well loved. It's hit the South Woodham community quite hard, a lot of people know them. I wanted to do something for the community and having something to remember for them.
