James Gunn has taken on the role of director for the DC reboot, and the cast has switched up a bit.The Suicide SquadHowever in this new film, while Will Smith hasn't returned as Dead Shot, Sylvester Stallone, Idris Elba, John Cena, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior and Pete Davidson star as King Shark, Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Polkadot Man, Ratcatcher 2 and Blackguard, respectively.
Jared Leto, however, will not be returning as The Joker. "No-one but me and a few others knows all the characters in the movie, but if the Joker isn't in the film, I don't think it would be strange as he isn't a part of the Suicide Squad in the comics," Gunn explained
