A same-game parlay follows a similar idea to what we’ve discussed above about general parlays. However, the difference in a same-game parlay is that all of the selections will come from the same game.Find this tab in your sportsbook app and start choosing the selections you like to include in your SGP.
In this example, the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing host to the Los Angeles Lakers. When you click on the game in the NBA section you’ll see the “Same Game Parlay” tab. Under this tab, you can scroll between all the options that are available to combine for your SGP. We’ll start by choosing the Cavaliers on the moneyline.Next up, scroll down to another section in the SGP tab. We’ll go to the “1+ Made Threes” tab and choose Russell Westbrook .
The reason that sportsbooks have special “SGP” sections is because certain outcomes from a single game cannot be parlayed together. For instance, no sportsbook would allow you to parlay the Bengals moneyline with the Bengals to cover the 6-point spread. The results are too correlated: if the Bengals cover, they will necessarily win. But the options for single-game parlays are still broad, and some correlated outcomes can be combined into an SGP.
