Find their website, social media page, or any other platform of information where you can find an email or phone number to contact someone there. Find your people: How you go about this depends on what kind of action you want to take. You’re going to need a team: people who believe in your vision and are willing to join you to make it happen. You find your team by spreading your message, communicating what you want to accomplish, and asking people to join you.
Find your allies: Remember that you are a part of a movement ecosystem. You are not organizing in a vacuum. This means that it is strategic to ask for help from partner organizations. Talk to other organizers about what you are starting and how you would like to collaborate with them. Remember, you are not competing with these other organizations; you are instead building on their work and collectively strengthening the cause.
