The long-awaited report into allegations of bullying against Dominic Raab has been handed to the Prime Minister after a five-month inquiry involving dozens of witnesses eleanormia looks at the timeline of how it all came to light ⤵️
, claiming that Mr Raab was “known as a bully” at the Ministry of Justice and made a habit of “intimidating and belittling” civil servants.
Later that same day, Mr Raab was required to stand in for Mr Sunak at PMQs, as the Prime Minister was at a G20 conference in Bali. Two days later, it was confirmed that a third complaint would be included relating to his behaviour during his tenure as Brexit secretary in 2018. The officials were said to have submitted their complaint in the form of a memo, claiming that some colleagues had been forced to take time off for “extended periods” as a result of Mr Raab’s conduct.
“These claims are untrue. No allegations of threatening behaviour against the then Welsh secretary were raised with the MP for Richmond,” the source told the paper.
