How Southampton is hoping to compete with the world’s leading boat shows:
Monaco, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Cannes, Dubai – these cities are internationally regarded for their annual boat shows but in the UK, Southampton is trying to smash the boat show ceiling. The city on the southern coast of England may be the home of British yachting but its annual event is still growing.
“What the British Marine team have managed to do in terms of creating an event with the safety of exhibitors and visitors at the forefront, is simply impressive,” says Kiran Haslam, Chief Marketing Officer, . “We hope to see the return to form of a show that is undoubtedly one of the best boat shows in the world – a true boaters show, come rain or shine.”
