After a monstrous performance in Week 7, Garrett is now tied with one other player for the best betting odds to win Defensive Player of the Year
If you placed a futures bet prior to the season on Myles Garrett to win Defensive Player of the Year, you had to love what the All-Pro defensive end achieved in theGarrett practically won the game for the Browns with two sacks, one pass breakup, two forced fumbles and nine tackles, his highest in a game since Week 4 of 2018.
DraftKings now lists Garrett with +200 odds to win DPOY, which is tied with Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons for the shortest in the league. Parsons has been leading the NFL for most of the year, but Garrett — who started the year with +800 odds to win the award — has surged to his level two multi-sack performances in the least two games.
Watt isn’t far behind Garrett and Parsons in DPOY odds, either, and currently sits a +225 to win the award.
