The National Weather Service will be out and about today in central and south Alabama to look at storm damage left by last night's storms and determine if it was caused by tornadoes or straight-line winds. The map above shows reports from Sunday & Monday.

Several tornado warnings were also issued, and the National Weather Service will be working to see how many tornadoes touched down.Alabama has been hit with multiple rounds of severe weather over the past few days.
The National Weather Service in Huntsville earlier this weekend identified the tracks of an EF-2 tornado in Morgan County near Hartselle, which has been blamed for one death, an EF-2 in Lauderdale County near Plantation Springs and an EF-1 in Morgan County near Lacys Spring. The weather service is also in south-central Alabama today and so far has confirmed an EF-2 tornado hit Macon County early this morning. It had winds estimated at 125 mph.
