AUSTIN, Texas — Professional bull riding has been billed as the most dangerous eight seconds in sports, but Bryce Cooper's eyes weren't usually fixated on the rider. “The good ones know, 'It's time for me to turn it on,'” said Cooper about his animals.
“Your hay, your vitamins, your minerals, all that intake," Cooper said. "We have that formulated in their ration. I know they're getting it every day.”“We used to just go to pasture, take the bull out and try and see if it worked or not. No genetic history, no nothing," Cooper said. "That didn't work very good."
Once a bucking bull is bred and trained, it's up to ABBI to make sure the best bulls are in rotation with the PBR.
