Ownership of an investment company linked to Roman Abramovich 'was transferred to one of the 55-year-old billionaire's closest allies the day that Russia invaded Ukraine'
Roman Abramovich, 55, has been sanctioned by the United Kingdom and the EU for his ties to Vladimir Putin. On Tuesday The Wall Street Journal reported that the oligarch, worth an estimated $12 billion , transferred control of a fund to a friend. The fund, registered in the British Virgin Islands, was transferred from a company called Norma Investments Ltd on February 24.
