Guard is still on the team but will take time away from program

Houston guard Ramon Walker Jr. will take some time away from the program, coach Kelvin Sampson said Tuesday. Walker has not played in the last three games and did not accompany the team for Sunday's game at Cincinnati. Sampson said recently that Walker was dealing with"all kinds of stuff."Walker has played in 10 games this season, averaging 3.1 points off the bench.
