More than 2.4 million people attended the 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the 20-day annual event that this year featured record-setting auctions, a new addition to the Star Trail of Fame and lots of pony rides, squishmallows and baby chicks.

"It's just so refreshing to see how the community unites and comes together for this event," said rodeo CEO Chris Boleman, who grew up on a ranch outside College Station and holds a doctoral degree in agricultural education from Texas A&M University."The fact that we bring that many people together to celebrate agriculture and promote education and support kids is just awesome.
On the concert stage, country singer Luke Bryan drew the biggest crowd, with 74,779 attending his concert on March 19. Brad Paisley, who drew a crowd of 74,577 on March 18, was inducted to the rodeo's Star Trail of Fame. This year marked Paisley's 15th appearance at RodeoHouston.
