“Sheriff Gonzalez loves his job, is good at it, and has every intention to run for re-election,” Grant Martin, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez' campaign spokesperson, said. “He appreciates people who want to serve their communities and looks forward to a healthy, positive and productive debate about the future of Harris County.”
Knox, a 64-year-old native Houstonian, is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a Houston police officer for more than 15 years.
