FOX 26 has learned that the Houston Astros organization is providing an opportunity of a lifetime for their staff members to attend a World Series game in Philadelphia.
A spokesman tells FOX 26 Reporter Matthew Seedorff, full-time employees were given the opportunity, along with part-time employees with 20 or more years of service.
"We’re able to stay tonight," said Ryan Veinotte, a full-time employee with the Astros. "It’s great. They got us tickets [and] plus ones. We’re able to explore the city while we’re here." "They make you feel really special," said Stig Daniels, a part-time worker with the Astros. "The club has done a really good job rolling out the red carpet for us."
