Anthem is a blast to play except for one thing that should probably not be in the game at all.

Yes, certain skills or classes may need buffs, but overall,is just…extremely fun to play with its different javelins, and that’s the strongest part of the game.Even in the closed alpha, I was skeptical of the idea of the overheating mechanic that occurs when you fly or hover.
You can extend your flight time and reduce overheating with certain components and inscriptions, and yet all that is doing is reducing a negative rather than gaining something positive, and those components and inscriptions could be used for something better if the system did not exist at all.should remove overheating and thruster build-up from the game entirely.
It’s a bold move, but I do not see the downside. The game loses nothing by allowing players to fulfil their superhero fantasy by flying around the map as much as they want without worrying about overheating every 15-25 seconds. You could still keep stuff like the waterfall mechanic, except have it give you a speed boost or something instead of cooling you down.
In battle, yes, this means you could hover an unlimited amount. Well, almost. There should still be a number of attacks that can shoot you out of the air, snipers, rockets, fireballs, etc, but without grounding you for the next ten seconds due to overheating. And I don’t think hovering in combat makes javelins OP, because it means you havecover while doing that, so there’s a clear downside.
