A section of the A29 near Horsham will be closed for the foreseeable future, Sussex Police say.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a grey Volkswagen Caddy on the A29 Stane Street in Slinfold, near Horsham, at 07:07 BST on Tuesday.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the motorcyclist, a 66-year-old man from Billingshurst, was pronounced deceased at the scene, Sussex Police said. The A29 will be closed in the vicinity of Slinfold Golf and Country Club for the foreseeable future, police said. “Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes in the meantime.
