A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was stabbed to death at a home in El Monte. One person was arrested.
The deadly incident happened Sunday evening on Ranchito Street near Santa Anita Avenue, according to the El Monte Police Department.
When officers arrived, they encountered a woman outside the home and placed her under arrest. They then found the victim, a women between 40-45 years in age, suffering from multiple stab wounds inside the home.AIR7 HD on Monday morning was over the scene, where investigators could be seen on the front lawn of the home.
