HOME and Away actor Joel McIlroy looked worlds away from his time on the Australian soap as he headed to court.He dressed in a suit for the hearing and wore a pair of glasses as he looked all grown-up from his time on the hit show.bat, but has seen the case closed by Magistrate Christine Hackett who claimed that his battle with Huntington's disease caused him to act suddenly.
Joel has been suffering from Huntington's disease since 2007 which causes parts of the brain to gradually break down.
