Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox has shared an adorable picture of the baby she says ‘saved her’ after she suffered two devastating miscarriages
. The 40 year old actress, who has played Nancy Hayton in the Channel 4 soap since 2005, posted the sweet snap of her and son River to Instagram along with a poignant caption.
Another replied by saying ‘adore’ while a third simply added: “Gorgeous.” In October last year, Jessica announced she was pregnant with River - at the same time revealing that she had suffered two miscarriages in 2021, both at the first trimester. She described the experiences as "completely heartbreaking”.
"It takes away the joy and excitement when and if you choose to get pregnant again. It's replaced by anxiety, stress and more fear than I ever could have imagined. Baby River was born in March this year - with Jessica announcing the news on Instagram by sharing some sweet snaps from hospital - including one of the baby with his hospital tag around the ankle - which showed he was born on 7 March. Another showed her and husband, Nicholas Willies, after she had just given birth. A third featured Nicholas carrying the baby out of the hospital in his car seat.
