Holly Willoughby is due to return as the host of This Morning next week, presenters Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters confirmed today, Friday, 1 September.
Holly has been presenting without her longtime co-host and good friend Philip Schofield, as he left ITV after admitting to having an affair with a much younger male colleague, which he called “unwise but not illegal.” Talking to The Sun, a source said: "Eamonn has extensive knowledge of the atmosphere at This Morning and has said before he thought Phil’s affair was 'covered up'
