Holly Willoughby failed to secure a nomination at the NTA's for Best Presenter.
Holly Willoughby is set to return to This Morning in a matter of weeks following her extended summer break in the wake of the Phillip Schofield scandal.
While both Holly and Phillip denied that the 42-year-old had any knowledge of the affair, she has been met with criticism and suffered a huge career blow failing to secure an NTA nomination. According to sources close to Holly, the TV star feels let down and as if she's being 'punished' by viewers for her co-stars actions.
“It does feel a little like a betrayal from viewers, who she accepts have felt upset about the circumstances – but she’s fuming at the idea that some people will enjoy seeing her punished for it. This Morning's Alison Hammond secured a nomination in the Best Presenter category alongside Martin Lewis, Bradley Walsh, Claudia Winkleman and Ant and Dec. While Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have scooped up the award for Best Presenter 21 times, Holly has been nominated for the gong every year from 2018 to 2021.
