Hotel on the way on Fort Worth’s near south side
The Nobleman Tapestry Hotel project includes an historic fire station and is just south of downtown Fort Worth.A hotel that’s been in the works for Fort Worth’s near south side is planning a start next month.at 503 Bryan Ave. The site is near South Main Street in an area seeing redevelopment.
The 153-room hotel is a project of Dallas-based MB Hospitality, which is affiliated with Bedford Lodging and Five Senses Hospitality. Construction is set to start on the four-story building next month, with an opening in 2024, according to planning documents filed with the state. The $26.5 million hotel will include meeting spaces, a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool and lounge area. The development also includes renovation of an historic fire station on site, according to the planning documents.The project has been in the works for more than three years but was delayed during the pandemic. A Fort Worth tax increment finance district had previously approved funding for the project.
