The two had encounters at various locations in Red Bank, Little Silver and Shrewsbury on multiple occasions until 2019, authorities said.
Canning was taken into custody Saturday and brought to the Monmouth County jail ahead of a court appearance. His attorney, Red Bank-based Kristin Pallonetti, declined to comment Monday morning.“This status will change if he is indicted,” Moore said in an email. In a statement to the school community shared with NJ Advance Media, Moore wrote, “Please understand that we have taken every step to protect your children, our students and our staff. If needed, counselors are available to all students and families.
