What’s the MG 4’s interior like?
It looks like a big step up for MG, although you can tell where the company’s designers got their ideas from. There’s a new widescreen infotainment system and a tiny digital gauge cluster mounted on the dashboard, which looks suspiciously similar to the infotainment setup in the Cupra Born. There’s also a two-spoke steering wheel, like you get in aImitation is the sincerest form of flattery, though, and there are some original ideas present.
MG hasn’t issued any figures on the 4 EV’s carrying capacity, but the brand’s latest images suggest it’ll be quite practical. The company has also assured us that the car will offer plenty of interior space and a well-sized boot. Guy Pigounakis, MG’s Commercial Director certainly seems confident about the 4 EV’s capabilty. He said: “Our first all-electric hatchback will offer unrivalled interior space and practicality, with a level of equipment usually expected from premium and performance EV manufacturers.
“We believe our new MG4 EV will be an enticing proposition for customers seeking an affordable electric car without compromise. The potential of the innovative Modular Scalable Platform is considerable and is set to deliver some exciting new MGs over the coming years.”
