Desperate effort by paramedics to transport alleged undercover police officer to safety

CNN/Supplied The arrival of police at Hong Kong airport briefly broke the stand-off between protesters and paramedics surrounding a man accused of being an undercover officer. The man was earlier surrounded by chanting protesters and appeared to lose consciousness. Paramedics tried to get him treatment but protesters refused to allow him to leave.

Protester lines broke upon the arrival of police, allowing paramedics to move the man towards the exit.“Hong Kong people are in a very very dangerous moment, some things in front of you may look crazy but we have no choice,” one 35-year-old protester named Max said.Watch the video of paramedics trying to get out:
